Privacy notice
Data used to operate
these public pages.
This notice describes the informational pages on mediastore.media and its video CDN. Customer applications may provide separate notices for their own services.
Responsible organization
mediafellows GmbH, Greifswalder Str. 226, 10405 Berlin, Germany, is responsible for processing described here. Contact legal@mediafellows.com for privacy enquiries.
Requests and operational logs
When you request a page or asset, our hosting and delivery services process connection data. Access logs can include an IP address, request time, hostname, URL path and query string, response status, browser information, and referring page.
We use operational data to deliver the service, investigate errors, and protect infrastructure against misuse. Our legal basis for these purposes is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
These pages do not set analytics cookies, load advertising trackers, or use contact forms. Styles and logos are hosted with the pages. External websites and the vulnerability-reporting form have their own privacy information.
Hosting and retention
We use Amazon Web Services, including CloudFront and S3, for hosting and delivery. Processing can occur in the United States and through CloudFront’s global network. Contact us for information about applicable international-transfer safeguards.
The informational-site access logs currently have no automatic expiry. Streaming CDN access logs are configured to expire after 180 days. A retention review or investigation may require separate handling of relevant records.
Browser network-error reports
Supported browsers can receive a network-error reporting policy from the mediastore.media landing page or its /policy endpoint. The browser can retain the policy for 24 hours. It requests reports about eligible failures and no reports about successful requests.
Reports go directly to our URIports reporting service for reliability and security diagnostics. They can include the affected address, error type, response status, timing, network addresses, and browser information. The parent-domain policy also permits reports of subdomain DNS failures. Coverage and delivery depend on the browser.
Messages you send
If you contact us, we process the information you provide to handle your enquiry or report. Provide only the details needed for that purpose. Do not include passwords, tokens, or signed playback links.
Your rights
Depending on the applicable conditions, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact legal@mediafellows.com to make a request.
You can also complain to a supervisory authority, including the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
